"When death finds out what you've decided to do I'm sure he will take drastic action to have you removed.” I listened to her but I didn't care, as far as I was concerned they could all go to hell. I smirked at that thought, it was rather amusing, I was condemning death to hell. Could I do such a thing? Or was it one of those funny thoughts you had after doing something amazing. I shook the idea off for now and decided to focus on my promise. I would defend the hospital from other death bringers.
The woman didn't miss a step following me, “I should technically take you out, end the problem before it begins... but I feel this will be fun to observe.”
I ignored the woman until the end but I couldn't help but laugh, I guessed that in general death bringers didn't get much fun. Sure they could go into any cinema and watch any movie, or take a life and temporarily enjoy something outlandish without the fear of death. The thrill must have died long ago, meaning they got rather bored fairly easily, but then, there this one, watching something interesting and she wouldn't let it slip through her fingers.
I finally arrived at the gate the woman still in tow, I was about to step through when I was thrown into a new room, I looked around the room. It was a hospital room, with an old man on a machine I guessed was a life support device.
“Here is your choice, stop yourself from taking his life” said a familiar voice twittering on. “but can you stop me?”
I could feel his life energy, he wasn't coming back I assumed. I could feel my energy slipping away and I tried to think of a move. In a action could not explain I placed my coin on his skull then instead of holding on with a will to draw him I felt I wanted him to appear.
To my surprise it worked his spirit flowing through the body into the coin then like a projecter the coin beamed a light outwards showing an image of the old man.
“Who are you” he spoke in a rather feared manner.
“I need to ask you something?” I responded.
